The murals of Rivera and Siqueiros will be projected life-sized on an 1800 square foot wall using Epson's Powerlite projectors. This year, the program has been given a new, exciting twist. Alongside the murals, Gregorio Luke will present the works of art that inspired them.

Siqueiros was among the most controversial figures in the history of Latin American art. He became the champion for modern realist murals, creating monumental art in the midst of social upheaval. In this lecture we will link him to the work of Abstract Expressionist painters who he inspired. |
