This drawing, awarded Best of Show in the MOLAA Awards 08, is a delicately layered work emphasizing the fragile and transitional nature of the physical, constructed world. Created with sumi-ink on parchment paper pressed between glass, the artist’s intention is to create a dialogue between the materials (the multiple layers) causing the drawn image to vibrate in the blank landscape. The work is like a document of information about a particular place, rendering it as a ghostly apparition of its original form.

Este dibujo, ganador del Gran Premios de los Premios MOLAA 08, está realizado en capas enfatizando la naturaleza frágil y transitoria del mundo físicamente construido. Creado con tinta sumi sobre papel pergamino presionado con cristal, el intento de la artista es crear un diálogo entre los materiales (las múltiples capas de papel) que hacen a su vez que la imagen dibujada vibre en el espacio en blanco. La obra parece un documento de información sobre un lugar en particular, traduciéndose como una aparición fantasmagórica de su forma original.
